Got to see our Fams!

Chris and I got to go back to our hometown, Shelley, Idaho on Friday. We stayed until Monday. Chris's sister, Cindy, got married on Saturday so we went up for the wedding. Cindy was beautiful in her dress! She looked like a princess! She married Derek Staley. He's from Missouri. They are so cute together. I am so happy that both of them are happy!
Mr. and Mrs. Staley coming out of the temple!
Look at those lovebirds! :)
Aren't Derek and Cindy adorable?
Aren't my in-laws cute? :)
Cindy and her lovely bridesmaids: Stephanie, Jordyn, Paige, Anna, and Lizzy

That was the first time I got to go to a wedding in the temple. That was a neat experience.

Setting up for the reception was hard work. I tried to help Denise as much as I could.
Groom's Cake
Bride's Cake- that is so hickish! ;)
This was taken before the reception started. I love Cindy's goofy face.
I don't know what Cindy Bug is doing in this picture, but Chris thought it was funny so he took a picture of it. Silly girl (I'm meaning Cindy)! ;)

It was fun to go home to small town Shelley, Idaho. It was a little hard to see my fam since we were helping with the wedding, but we did get to see them. And, Chris's brother, Jared, had his mission farewell yesterday. He did well on his talk. He's going to Albuquerque, New Mexico and he leaves on Wednesday. I hope he has a splendid mission. He is such a good brother (and yes, I call him my "Bro"). Life will certainly not be the same without him, but I know he will do an awesome job!

It was good to see all of them. I wished we could've seen my family a little bit more, but it was good to see them for a little bit. I do miss them a lot! They are a lot of fun. I have the best family in the entire world! I'm glad that I'm a part of their family. I'm so grateful for all they do for me. I get homesick sometimes being so far away from them, but they call me and I call them. It's been good.

I just wish we could've had more time with both of our fams. I love them a lot! It's been hard being away from them, but it's also been fun to be on our own at the same time.

Love my Family!

I sure miss my family! It's been hard living away from them since they've always been right there for me. They are all so much fun to be around! I miss them a lot! I was telling my mom and my mother-in-law that now that Chris and I are in Texas, we are going to miss out on everything. I am so sad! :(

Nothing much has been going on lately. Chris goes to work early in the mornings, comes home in the evenings and I stay home. I clean the apartment, do any laundry that needs to be done, and lounge around. What can I say? It's life! :)

I found out that my sis, Kay (FYI-her name's McKayla, but I've always called her Kay), is valedictorian of her high school senior class! I'm so excited for her! She graduates tomorrow. She's pretty excited for it. I'm so glad that I was never the valedictorian. I didn't want to speak in front of everyone and have them all staring at me! Scary! :) She is so wicked smart- I am so JEALOUS! :)

My mom says everyone else is doing good. I miss them a lot! :)

WE HAVE INTERNET! YAYYYYYYYYY!

WE HAVE INTERNET in our apartment! I am so excited! I hope my family's excited. They've been wanting to face time me on my IPod. So, hopefully it will work (cross your fingers!) It's been an awesome week. Chris and I had the missionaries over for dinner yesterday. They were awesome. We also got our couch on Wednesday! It is very comfortable. Our apartment is starting to feel like home now. And the couch kind of completes it. I am loving it!

I sure miss my family a lot. I told Chris when we were heading to Texas that we are going to miss out on everything now. I am going to miss the annual Bear Lake trip with my family every summer (they've gone every year ever since my mom was a little girl), my sister's high school graduation (which I am REALLY sad about), and everything else. I love spending time with my family. They are awesome!

We also had the missionaries over for dinner yesterday. It was nice to have some company over. I helped Chris cook dinner. We had bacon, sausage, eggs, French toast, and Oreos for dessert. It was good. I can't remember the missionaries' names, but I liked them.

It's been a crazy week. Good week, yet crazy! So glad it's the weekend! :)
